Terms and Condtions of Bookings
Our Contract
Our contract with you takes effect when we send you written confirmation
of your booking. In parties of two or more people, the person who makes
the booking by signing our booking form or otherwise contracting with
us, accepts responsibility for making all payments to us for all members
of the party.
What is included (unless otherwise stated)
Transport, by car or minibus, within the course
Guiding by qualified Accompagnateur en Montagne / International Mountain
Leader (as required by French law)
Personal clothing e.g. waterproofs, fleeces, rucsacs
Mechanical uplift (gondola, chairlifts, etc)
Board and accommodation not detailed in the tour description.
Payment
When booking a non-refundable €50 deposit is required
for each person. We send a booking confirmation with no reminder.
Payment of the balance is due four weeks before the holiday starts. If this payment is not received we reserve the right to treat your booking as a cancellation and to levy cancellation charges accordingly.
Bookings made four weeks or less before the course start date must include full payment.
Prices
We reserve the right to raise or lower our prices at any time before
you book. If at the time of booking the holiday / course price has changed
from that shown in any leaflet or brochure you will be told the revised
price applicable to your booking before you commit yourself.
Minimum Numbers
Some tours require minimum numbers in order for them to run. Where
this is the case you will be notified on the booking confirmation.
Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel your course please inform us immediately.
Cancellations are effective only in writing at the address
below. If received, cancellation charges based upon the following scale
will be paid by the client. The charges are covered by insurance (optional)
if the reasons are valid.

Cancellation or Modification by Us
Our best endeavours will be made to ensure that advertised tours
actually run. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the content of
courses due to prevailing circumstances or conditions. In the event
of cancellation a full refund will be offered OR alternative course
dates OR an alternative course. We regret that our liability does not
extend beyond this.
Health, Fitness & Age
Mountain walking and adventure holidays and its associated activities
require appropriate fitness levels. We must be notified of any illness
or impairment when booking and reserves the right to ask a client to
leave the course if their continued participation jeopardises the safety
or enjoyment of other course members or in our opinion jeopardises their
own safety or well being. Clients under the age of 18 years can only
attend if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Insurance
Clients are encouraged to take out appropriate holiday
insurance. We are covered by professional liability insurance.
Losses or Damage
Any loaned equipment that is lost or damaged will be chargeable
to the client at the current replacement cost at our sole discretion.
Law
The contract arising from any confirmed booking is made on the terms
of these booking conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing. This
contract is made under French law and the sole jurisdiction of the relevant
tribunal in Albertville.
