Beaufortain - Day Treks

Explore the beautiful Beaufortain in a series of day treks. Each day we will enjoy a walk taking in the variety and beauty of the area. There will be plenty of time to take photographs of the scenery, wild flowers or the fauna.

Stunning views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains are almost guaranteed!

Depending on the time of year wild flowers abound in the beautiful alpine environment.

You will only need to carry a light day pack with essentials for the day.

Sample Itinerary

D1 - Arrive and settle into your hotel. Explore the village of Beaufort.

D2 - Mt Mirantin (2460m) and the Pointe de la Grande Journee - superb views over the Combe de Savoie and the Beaufortain Massif.

D3 - Cret du Rey (2633m)

D4 - Grand Mont (2684m) and Lacs de la Tempete - spectacular mountain scenery.

D5 - Lac de Presset - the route to the lake crosses the Col du Bresson (2469m). A view of the dramatic Pierra Menta, a rocky monolith.

D6 - Col de la Croix du Bonhomme and the Col du Bonhomme

D7 - Roc de la Charbonniere.

D8 - Departure of breakfast.
