Escape for a weekend or a long weekend to the invigorating French Alps! - Refresh your mind and body.
- Our weekend walking breaks are based close to the stunning beautiful Annecy. Lake Annecy is surrounded by the hills of the Bauges to the south-west and the Aravis mountains.
- The transfer to Annecy from Geneva airport is only about 40 minutes so you can maximise your time enjoying this beautiful area.
- Our weekends are based in a comfortable 3 star hotel close to the shore's of the lake. Arrive in Geneva on either a Thursday or Friday night and benefit from an unforgettable long weekend break.
Typical Itinerary
- Friday evening - Arrive at Geneva airport and be met at the terminal for your transfer to you weekend be met at the terminal for your transfer to you weekend destination.
- Saturday - Wake up close to the shores of the turquoise waters of Lac d'Annecy. Enjoy a great cup of coffee, fresh croissants and freshly baked bread as on the French can. Potential walk up La Tournette that overlooks the lake and with views on a clear day to Mont Blanc. Refresh yourself with a chance to swim in the pool or even the lake or simply bask in the sunshine and soak up the warmth.
- Sunday - A walk in the Aravis exploring the Parmelan or the Plateau des Glieres.
- Monday - A walk in the Bauges, a limestone massif with a character and charm all of its own.
- Return to the hotel and transfer to Geneva airport for an evening flight.

We had a free day on Friday ( you can get your apartment only on Saturday). We found in the internet Mark Tennent from Simply Savoie,
and he took us for snow shoeing walk. Everything was perfect, he met us on time, gave us the equipment, and took us to very beautiful place,' with fantastic views over the mountains.
