D1 - Saturday - Transfer from Geneva and transfer to first nights accommodation in Chamonix.
D2 - Sunday - Chamonix to Trelechamps - We leave our accommodation and take the cable car to La Flegere. From here we make our way to the Lac Blanc and the Lacs de Cheserys with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, the Chamonix Aiguilles, the Dru and the whole Mont Blanc massif. We have time to enjoy and appreciate this unmissable part of the tour before continuing. A steady traverse and a gradual loss in height brings us down to the Col de Montets where we will take our transfer to Verbier.
D3 - Monday - Transfer to Verbier - Cabin de Mont Fort.
D4 - Tuesday - Cabin de Mont Fort - Refuge Prafleuri. Today is one of the major stages of the route. After leaving the Cabin de Mont Fort we pass by the Col Termin. From the Col we lose a small amount of height before climbing steadily to the Col Louvie. Here we head into high mountain terrain and cross a vast barren area below the Glacier Deserts. Our way is signaled and we cross rock slabs and pass small glacial lakes. Finally we see the Col Fleurie. A short steep climb leads to the col and with it, a view down to the Refuge Prafleuri. The Refuge is reached after a descent amidst rocky terrain.
D5 - Wednesday - Refuge Prafleuri - Arolla
D6 - Thursday - Arolla - Grimentz
D7 - Friday - Grimentz - Gruben
D8 - Saturday - Gruben - Randa - Zermatt
D9 - Sunday - Transfer to Geneva (road / rail).
